We are helping lead the global community of passionate advocates to change policies and raise funds to support UN programs that help the hardest-to-reach girls living in places where it is hardest to be a girl.
We support this program through our local chapter initiatives.
Created to elevate youth voices in the global policy dialogue, the U.S. Youth Observer to the UN is a role appointed annually by the U.S. Department of State and UN Association of the USA.
For a one year term, and American between the ages of 18-25 is selected to engage young people in the U.S. in the work of the United Nations and international issues.

Our chapter supports the UNA-USA/UNHCR fundraising efforts to enable American communities to provide direct assistance for refugee education overseas. The campaign will allow communities to "adopt" and raise funds in support of a specific refugee- serving school in one of over 60 locations in 9 countries.
